- My name is Jeff Anderson I'm the owner of the North Atlantic Longboard Co. More then just the owner, I'm the shaper, artist, and laminator. I buff and polish out the finished product, and I'm the guy who sweeps the floor at the end of the day. Rather then trying to use a website to project the image of a large shop busy with full time production, the truth is i handcraft each board from start to finish myself. Every step of the process is personally scrutinized and the amount of time dedicated to each surfboard is usually different as a result. Nothing leaves my shop until i am personally satisfied with it firs, and will never be found in a surf shop board rack until it's fully cured and ready to ride. Since 1996 i have used techniques and materials with a proven track recored of nearly fifty years, to handcraft surfboards of both classic and contemporary design. Long boards and mid-lengths are what i ride, they're what i know best, they are what i have chosen to specialize in. My shop is located on Long Island, New York and all retail sales are through only respected core surf shops.

ReplyDeleteThe North Atlantic Longboard Company has evolved. After twenty years of production on Long Island NY, the operation has moved to the incredibly blue, warm clear waters of the USVI.
Semi-retirement is sweet.
I’m finally back in year round warm water and living the dream. Goodbye winter wetsuits!
